  • Mental Health

The emotional health and wellbeing of children their families is a national concern: coping with staying at home, isolation or bereavement, is significant and widespread. Now as always, we are supporting pupils, parents, families and staff to find help and support.

Our intervention team provide therapeutic intervention including mindfulness, worry monster and draw and talk.

We have a new sensory space: the sensory space is a traditional sensory room containing bubble tubes, fibre optics and black light equipment.  Students can decompress, join in challenging conversations, and feel ready to reengage with learning.

We also have an experienced counsellor in school four days a week for drop-in sessions or for longer term, intensive support.

If you believe someone is at serious risk of harming themselves or others, call 999 or 101.

Kent Police also offer a webchat service if you are not sure how or what to report.
